When planning for a budget-friendly or spur-of-the-moment trip to somewhere nice, then Dinadiawan Beach would be your best option. I can assure you, this is not a splurge-type kind of trip. Dinadiawan, located at Dipaculao, Aurora, hold a serene and breath-taking environment which is perfect for those who are trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. It's quiet and it boasts a relaxing atmosphere. And the people, very friendly and accommodating.

The trip we had was really not planned. Loading up the van, my Ma and Pa together with some relatives, headed to Dinadiawan. From Alfonso Lista Ifugao, it took us four (4) hours to reach our destination (route: Alfonso Lista Ifugao - Santiago City Isabela - Saguday Quirino - Aglipay Quirino - Maddela Quirino - Aurora Province).

Upon arriving, we were greeted by the beautiful view of Talisay Beach.

ACCOMMODATION

The first thing that we considered upon arriving was where to stay. The shoreline of Talisay (Dinadiawan Agri Beach) is peppered with nipa huts which can be rented at a very affordable price. A single hut can accommodate 7-12 persons; it has a cooking and grilling area (there's a nearby market or "talipapa" where you can buy fresh veggies, fish, and meats. For those who are wondering if there's electricity, yes there is! So don't worry about your gadgets and stuff running out of batteries. And, I must not forget, comfort rooms and bathrooms are located at the back of the huts. If you wish to have a hammock hanged, you can request from the management. Congratulations, hammocks are rent-free!

Totally "unplugged".. Make sure to bring some matches/lighters if you plan to cook your own meals.

Total "unplugging" experience..make sure to bring matches and gather some firewood :P

Firewoods are already provided; no need to gather some.. :)

Me, chillin' ..
